Greeting everyone with a smile and making a difference to someone's day is one of the best things a person can do!

Up next is Business Support Administrator, Paula

Tell us a bit about your role

I'm the Business Support Administrator for Cuckoo, I also sit on reception and greet people as they arrive.

I love my job because I don’t have to just look at the same people all day, and I mean that in a nice way 😉 No 2 days are the same and I love helping people.

Greeting everyone with a smile and making a difference to someone's day is one of the best things a person can do! Whether it be just with a friendly face or scanning, printing, ordering, filling up the coffee machines, getting sugar, designing and printing ID cards and all the other jobs we do behind the scenes, all help someone.

Show & tell - show us an item that represents you

It was hard to choose just one. I was chairman, events coordinator and singer for the Military Wives Choir. My husband was going away a lot and this was a part of my life that I got a lot out of?

We started as a support network for military wives, while our partners were in Afghanistan and we were left at home. We wanted to do what military wives do best, get together and paarrrtyyy...and sing.

Best moment? I met and sang with Gary Barlow, several times at the Queens Jubilee and Brit awards. When we recorded ‘Sing’ at Abbey Road Studios he spoke to us over our headsets and WOW, the jaws dropping and sighs around the studio was deafening!

The choir was amazing and I have always loved singing, who doesn’t. I was one of the soloists and sang with some very famous people at wonderful venues. I sang on 2 albums and 2 singles and loved every moment!

If you could have dinner with a historical figure or celebrity who would it be?

I'd love to speak to Marie Curie. For the historical side, I'd want to know why she started what she did and what drove her. Then I'd also like someone funny too 🤔

I'm not sure he'd get on with Marie Curie but I love Russell Howard. He is so funny and he has some brilliant views on politics. He has a way of making you think about things and I'm sure Marie would have a lot to say to him because he believes in equality and she fought for this all her life. Not just because she found it hard to be heard as a woman and gain the education she needed to fulfil her dream to cure cancer. But she was a woman who wanted to be known for science not battling with equality.

I am sure we'd have a few giggles over the dinner table. And after dinner? Karaoke..what else?

How many times did it take you to pass your driving test, and why did you fail?

I didn't fail! I actually passed first time when I was 17
